Powers:

Devouring: Kikatsu can easily bite through and eat almost every material. He has incredible jaw strength, allowing him to tear through reinforced metal armor like a human ripping a tissue up. He can also eat anything in infinite amounts, and digest it perfectly due to the infinity seal. If someone was to be eaten by Kikatsu, after they left his throat, instead of falling into his stomach, it would appear as if you were suddenly falling through space; pitch black with stars and everything. In this void, matter is drained of all energy and worth, and life force, if any is present. Items can also be recalled, and souls are kept in a “safe area” if needed.

Fattening: While Kikatsu can shapeshift someone if he enters their body, or touches them, he has a wide variety of charms and curses which he does not need to make contact with one to use. He finds great pleasure in this, and it is recommended that one does not become the item of his amusement. Techniques and exact results vary depending on what he can think of.

Absorption: Kikatsu is constantly absorbing ambient background energy. He can focus the absorption to a single target and amplify the intensity, becoming a powerful energy drain. Kikatsu absorbs all kinds of energy. This forms a protected area around Kikatsu. The absorption also cools the air around him, and makes him icy cold to the touch. Besides energy, Kikatsu can physically absorb objects and people into him. They would sink into him in a similar way that something would sink into molasses. He can also force someone to absorb him, see possession.

Charm: Kikatsu, like other kitsune, has the ability to “charm” someone, lull them into a sense of heightened suggestibility using a swaying tail or just his voice. This is similar to hypnosis. It is rather easy to resist, but one can only hold it back if they know he is doing it. That is the hard part, Kikatsu is very skilled at hiding his use of charms.

Shapeshifting: His most developed power. Kikatsu is a master shapeshifter, able to take forms of anything he can imagine. He is very adept and has surpassed most other kitsune. Kikatsu can shapeshift into anything he can imagine, even if it’s real or not. He keeps his colors and markings for most of his shapeshifts, hiding his markings is very difficult but possible. Normal shapeshifting is effortless and can be done without much thought. Normally turning into organic things, like animals or creatures, he can also turn into inorganic and artificial things. His shapeshifting also covers his ability to size shift, being able to change his size and weight. He cannot hold smaller weight for very long though, his transformations into a smaller kitsune are very difficult to keep for any period of time. Basically compare him trying to be thin to you trying to balance on one foot, you eventually have to go back to how you were before. Also, Kikatsu can shapeshift another person if he enters them, or touches them. Only someone who is capable of shapeshifting can change back, unless Kikatsu does it for them.

Possession: No other really good name for this. While not an actual possession, and despite his size, Kikatsu can effortlessly phase into another’s body. The subject he has gone into would know he was there, entering another’s body is very uncomfortable to them. The sensation when Kikatsu’s body enters your is very weird and hard to describe, but it would feel like every single part of you was full, like after you eat too much…but everywhere and not just in your stomach. When inside both Kikatsu and the other can hear each other’s thoughts. Kikatsu can also influence their actions. Prolonged possession of a person causes that person to begin to take on characteristics of Kikatsu, both personality and physically. If he remains in them long enough, they will become Kikatsu, having his mind, soul, and body. Basically it would be like Kikatsu getting a fresh body. They would still be aware of their situation, but they would have Kikatsu’s body and mind, and Kikatsu would more or less have the host all to himself until his next absorbtion. Some risk remains with this though, as stronger willed people can have lingering “echoes” that can influence and exert control over Kikatsu for some time after the change. A side note, he can force another to absorb himself, and rapidly turn them into a fresh body for himself.


Time Manipulation: All Kitsune are gifted with an ability to bend time to a degree. Kikatsu has been able to develop this power to a significantly higher level than all other kitsune. He can alter the flowing of time, making it go faster or slower or backwards, or stop it completely, along with some other misc. manipulations. Stopping time gives the illusion of teleportation to those observing it. Kikatsu can also change his location in time. Besides himself he can drag other beings and objects into the alterations of time with him if he chooses. For his own amusement, he is capable of going back and altering someone’s personal history…usually changing their weight earlier in life so it would affect them later.


Illusions: Kikatsu can create illusions to some degree. For all intensive purposes they are real, but any of his illusions are instantly dispelled if someone with extremely powerful light or dark magic touches them. The illusions can be anything from money to another person to a clone of himself. They are completely real for anyone who sees them except the beings with extreme light or dark magic, for which they appear semi-transparent and can pass through them.
