Powers:

Devouring: Kikatsu can easily bite through and eat almost every material. He has incredible jaw strength, allowing him to tear through reinforced metal armor like a human ripping a tissue up. He can also eat anything in infinite amounts, and digest it perfectly.

Absorption: Kikatsu is constantly absorbing ambient background energy. He can focus the absorption to a single target and amplify the intensity, becoming a powerful energy draining attack. Kikatsu absorbs all types of energy, and this can be used as a defense against many attacks. The attacks get energy sucked out of them before they even hit him, making them far less hurtful. This forms a defensive area around Kikatsu, anyone riding him will be as protected as he is. The absorption also cools the air around him, and he is icy cold to the touch. Besides energy, Kikatsu can physically absorbe objects and people into him.

Energy Injection: Related to the absorb power. This power is really only for mischief; he can reverse his energy drain to force energy into another’s body in the form of calories, making them become fat. This process takes a minute or two and is impractical for combat.

Shapeshifting: His most developed power. Kikatsu is a master shapeshifter, able to take forms of anything he can imagine. He is very adept and has surpassed most other kitsune. Kikatsu can shapeshift into anything he can imagine, even if it’s real or not. He keeps his colors and markings for most of his shapeshifts, hiding his markings is very difficult and uses up energy. Normal shapeshifting is effortless and can be done without much thought. Normally turning into organic things, like animals or creatures, he can also turn into inorganic things; like turning his arm into a sword and what not. He likes to mock others by changing into them in front of them, keeping his grey fur and black markings too. His shapeshifting also covers his ability to size shift, being able to change his size and weight. He cannot hold smaller weight for very long though, his transformations into a smaller kitsune are very difficult to keep for any period of time. Basically compare him trying to be thin to you trying to balance on one foot, you eventually have to go back to how you were before.

Possession: No other really good name for this. While not an actual possession, and despite his size, Kikatsu can effortlessly phase into another’s body. The subject he has gone into would know he was there, entering another’s body is very uncomfortable to them, the sensation when Kikatsu’s body enters your is very weird and hard to describe. For the first few times Kikatsu did this to Shanks, she became sick to her stomach and vomited from the feeling. When inside both Kikatsu and the other can hear each other’s thoughts. Kikatsu can also influence their actions slightly, but not much. And the most noticeable thing is that when Kikatsu is in anothers body he can shapeshift it. Only someone who can already shapeshift can change back, unless Kikatsu does it for them. Also when Kikatsu is in someone else they experience a bloated feeling, like when you have to burp real bad but cant. Prolonged possession of a person causes that person to begin to take on characteristics of Kikatsu, both personality and physically.

Elemental Power: Kikatsu has the element of nothingness. He can control it and make it into a weapon in battles. “Void Energy” appears as black looking fluid, moving in ways that one would picture water being weightless. It completely defies gravity, appearing to have no weight or mass. Kikatsu can focus the energy into beams to fire, or make a sort of whip looking weapon which is attached to each tail out if it. Very effective in combat, allowing was attacks at varying ranges and at many different angles. He focuses the energy with his tails. By moving his tails in a whip like motion forward toward a hostile, he can fling smaller bolts of void energy at them for a ranged attack. This causes small explosions with black fire; anything left still burning is with a black flame. Asides from nothingness he has control of other elements including fire, which gives him his foxfire ability.


Time Manipulation: All Kitsune are gifted with an ability to bend time to a degree. Kikatsu has been able to develope this power to a significantly higher level than all other kitsune. He can alter the flowing of time, making it go faster or slower or backwards, or stop it completely, along with some other misc. manipulations. Stopping time gives the illusion of teleportation to those observing it. Kikatsu can also change his location in time. Besides himself he can drag other beings and objects into the alterations of time with him if he chooses.


Illusions: Kikatsu can create illusions to some degree. For all intensive purposes they are real, but any of his illusions are instantly dispelled if someone with extremely powerful light or dark magic touches them. The illusions can be anything from money to another person to a clone of himself. They are completely real for anyone who sees them except the beings with extreme light or dark magic, for which they appear semi-transparent and can pass through them.

Other Information:

Tails: He has nine of them. That is the highest number a normal kitsune can have. They are the focus point of his magical ability. Tails are linked to his elemental powers. They are also very strong, as well as very subtle; he can use them like extra hands, manipulating objects. The tails can also change length from their normal size to extremely long. He can hide his other eight tails if he wishes; that’s related to the shapeshifting. The tails are not totally under his control, each has an individual soul. One tail is the soul of a drunk that used to beat his wife, so that tail beats the others.

Personality: he is usually a rather silly or funny acting, eccentric would be a good word. Making jokes at inappropriate moments, though typically to cheer others up. He loves to use his shapeshifting to also be funny. He also can equally be dead serious, seeming to switch between them effortlessly. When like this he is a total no bull sh*t kind of person. Also he sometimes acts rather insane, (technically he is, that’s what causes his personality rift). Kikatsu is also very caring. He fanatically defends the ones he holds dear, and cant stand seeing them hurt or belittled. He would defend them at all costs and probably cares more for them than his own life. This also may be a side effect from his mental instability. As a Kitsune, Kikatsu does not believe in good and evil, only right and wrong.

Hunger Curse: This was a final part of an experiment done on him by the Kuro-Kawa (was applied when he was about 300 years old, which is young for a kitsune). It forces the cursed being to become uncontrollably hungry, eating everything they can. The eating is totally out of their control and they can do nothing about it. They are forced to keep eating until they literally tare their insides apart, at which point they would keep eating even though in extreme pain and digesting themselves from the inside out. Some time after they rip their digestive system apart, they would die. If food is not in reach the cursed one has uncontrollable shaking spasms and foams at the mouth. A very disgusting and painful death; which Kikatsu escaped from. Kikatsu also eventually developed self-control and al of these affects wore off. He is still always hungry but has it in control now.

Infinity Seal: This is what saved his life. The Infinity Seal is a magical seal that allows whatever it’s applied upon to hold any amount of anything, it also in combination with the hunger curse made his jaw able to bite through anything. The seal saved his life, but for several years he had no control over his eating, he was locked up with limited interaction with other kitsune, and was a table of a variety of magic food, which each plate refilled itself after it was eaten. After several years of engorging himself he was finally able to control his hunger. He used to have an extremely fast metabolism and burned calories quickly, but that and his thin figure were totally ravaged after several years of none stop eating. He is the most obese kitsune that is recorded in the kitsune library of knowledge. All other kitsune have a slender fox body. He is easily recognized by his size, many kitsune of similar age were quick to point out his appearance. At first he absolutely hated what the curse had forced him to do to himself, but after a while he fell in love with his unique body, and sometimes as pranks made other kitsune look more like him, sort of a revenge thing but very fun. He now finds larger things very attractive.



Side note: he walks on all fours, but his forepaws are basically hands, but the fingers are huge if to scale with a human hand. Shanks sometimes rides Kikatsu like a horse when she is tired of walking. He also can shapeshift to an upright form.
